Vertiv initiated with an Outperform at William Blair

William Blair initiated coverage of Vertiv (VRT) with an Outperform rating. The firm believes the company is well positioned for the deployment of high-density, integrated artificial intelligence. Vertiv generates 80% of sales from the “rapidly expanding” data center industry, where it holds “strong collaboration moats” with top chipmakers and hyperscalers, he analyst tells investors in a research note. Blair believes backlog strength and margin expansion sets up Vertiv shares to outperform the market.
