Jefferies upgraded Vail Resorts (MTN) to Buy from Hold with a price target of $165, up from $159. The company’s leadership change, share underperformance, and historically low valuation set a low bar for fiscal 2026, the analyst tells investors in a research note. The firm says Vail is the strongest brand in skiing with the largest base of passholders, “which has under-executed post-COVID.” It believes the return of previously successful leadership, a new pricing model, and improved execution should generate earnings growth in the 2026/2027 season.
