The U.K. government will work with U.S. officials to regulate the crypto industry, with Chancellor Rachel Reeves discussing digital-asset regulation with U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, Bloomberg’s Emily Nicolle and Tom Rees report. The U.K.’s Treasury has published draft legislation on cryptoassets that will be finalized later this year, and the U.K.-U.S. Financial Regulatory Working Group will hold talks in June to support the responsible growth of digital assets. “For the U.K. to be a world leader in digital assets, international cooperation is vital,” Reeves said. Publicly traded companies in the space include Bit Digital (BTBT), Bitfarms (BITF), Coinbase (COIN), Core Scientific (CORZ), Greenidge Generation (GREE), Mara Holdings (MARA), Riot Platforms (RIOT), Strategy (MSTR), Stronghold Digital Mining (SDIG) and TeraWulf (WULF).
