Raymond James lowered the firm’s price target on Texas Capital (TCBI) to $80 from $87 and keeps an Outperform rating on the shares. Texas Capital’s EPS and pre-provision net revenue shortfall in Q1 primarily reflected a softer start to the year in investment banking and advisory fees given the uncertainty from the impacts of tariffs and policy shifts from the Trump administration, the analyst tells investors in a research note. The firm continues to view risk-reward positively given continued loan and deposit growth momentum and improvement in operating efficiency and profitability over time.
