RBC Capital downgraded Sun Life Financial (SLF) to Sector Perform from Outperform with an unchanged C$84 price target The company’s underlying EPS was higher than the firm’s estimate and consensus, but the U.S. segment had higher than expected experience losses related to Dental and stop-loss, the analyst tells investors in a research note. RBC adds that while it does not expect material unfavorable stop-loss experience to persist into 2026, it expects the Dental business to remain challenged throughout the forecast period.
