Barclays analyst Jason Goldberg downgraded State Street (STT) to Equal Weight from Overweight with a price target of $152, up from $120. The firm adjusted ratings in the large cap bank group as part of its 2026 outlook. Barclays expects the trends hat drove double-digit earnings growth and bank stock outperformance in 2025 to carry into 2026. It sees less relative upside for State Street after the stock’s outperformance to end last year. Barclays cites valuation for the downgrade.
