SoftBank Group (SFTBY) and Nvidia (NVDA) are in talks to invest in Skild AI, in a more than $1B funding round that could value the maker of foundation models for robots at around $14B, according to sources and a term sheet seen by Reuters, Akash Sriram and Krystal Hu write. If successful, the funding will be at nearly triple Skild’s valuation from the $4.7B it commanded in a $500M Series B round earlier this year, according to PitchBook data.
