Role of CrowdStrike bosses in Carahsoft deal probed by U.S., Bloomberg says

U.S. prosecutors and regulators probing a $32M deal between CrowdStrike (CRWD) and a technology distributor are investigating what senior company executives may have known about it and are examining other transactions made by the cybersecurity firm, two people familiar with the matter tell Bloomberg’s Jake Bleiberg. Investigators with the DOJ and SEC have been probing the transaction between CrowdStrike and the distributor, Carahsoft Technology Corp., in recent months, questioning former employees about how the deal was struck, what awareness CrowdStrike’s leaders had of it and whether staff raised concerns about other transactions, the people say. The investigators’ questions suggest the CrowdStrike probes are broader than previously known, Bleiberg writes.
