Citi lowered the firm’s price target on PayPal (PYPL) to $95 from $98 and keeps a Buy rating on the shares. The firm’s fiscal 2025 estimates move slightly higher to reflect the Q1 outperformance, balanced with “moderated, prudent” e-commerce and macro assumptions in the second half of the year. With environment uncertainty and a large part of the year remaining, leaving the outlook unchanged and embedding more prudent assumptions was the right move for PayPal, the analyst tells investors in a research note.
