Wells Fargo raised the firm’s price target on M&T Bank to $185 from $175 and keeps an Underweight rating on the shares. The company’s Q2 earnings were solid with good fees and positive operating leverage, but this was also “largely expected”, with upside coming from improving credit and lower shares as the bank had repurchased $1.1B of stock, the analyst tells investors in a research note.
