BMO Capital analyst Jeffrey Silber lowered the firm’s price target on Moody’s (MCO) to $521 from $534 and keeps a Market Perform rating on the shares. The firm cites the company’s management guiding MIS segment revenues to decline in the low single digits y/y in Q3, the analyst tells investors in a research note. BMO adds that it expects debt issuance trends to slow, which could impact the stock. Moody’s Analytics business has performed well, but it is seeing some issues as clients tighten purchasing patterns, the firm noted.
