Morgan Stanley lowered the firm’s price target on Lightspeed (LSPD) to $14 from $17 and keeps an Equal Weight rating on the shares. A jump to 10%-15% location growth and 20%- 25% gross profit growth in key markets would yield meaningful upside to shares, but “little evidence of market share gains today means these targets are aspirational at best and likely viewed by the market as unrealistic,” the analyst tells investors following the company’s Capital Markets Day. The guidance cut for FY25 earlier in the week makes the setup “tougher,” the analyst added.
