JPMorgan keeps an Overweight rating on Citi (C) after the company announced a plan to sell its remaining Russia operations and said it will recognize a pre-tax $1.2B loss in Q4. The firm expects a slight benefit to Citi’s capital ratio post the sale due to decline in risk weighted assets. For regulatory capital purposes, Russia carries the highest country risk classification of seven, the analyst tells investors in a research note.
