Food and Drug Administration Commissioner Marty Makary and vaccines chief Vinay Prasad are looking to waive privacy protections around data on Covid vaccines and pregnant women, with the intention to garner more detail on what they see as potential harms of the shot, the sources added. Companies in the space include Moderna (MRNA), Pfizer (PFE), and BioNTech (BNTX).
