Hartford is promoting Prateek Chhabra to chief risk officer, succeeding Robert Paiano who will retire from the company at the end of the year following 29 years of service. Chhabra will report directly to Hartford’s chairman and CEO Christopher Swift. The move is effective Sept. 1.
