Mikael Skov, CEO of Hafnia (HAFN), commented: “The first quarter experienced an increase in trade volumes and tonne-miles, supported by strong global demand resulting in an improved spot market. Sentiment has improved further in the second quarter, setting the stage for a robust remainder of 2025. Our Q1 result were impacted by a significant number of vessels undergoing scheduled drydocking or repairs, leading to approximately 500 off-hire days during the quarter. Despite these operational adjustments, Hafnia demonstrated resilience by delivering a net profit of USD 63.2 million in Q1 2025. Our adjacent fee-generating pool and bunkering business continued to perform well, contributing USD 7.9 million to our overall results. We are confident in the market, and I am pleased to announce a full cash payout ratio of 80% for the quarter. We will not deduct the USD 27.6 million utilized for share buybacks during this period when calculating our dividend.”
