General Motors (GM) is investing at least $800M in a propulsion plant in New York state intended to increase its local engine production, Reuters reports, citing two sources familiar with the matter. The investment is said to be an increase from a previously announced $300M allocation to make electric vehicle drive units at the facility, the report states.
