General Mills (GIS) has completed the sale of its U.S. Yogurt business to Lactalis. The divestiture includes the U.S. operations of several yogurt brands including Yoplait, Go-Gurt, Oui, Mountain High, and :ratio, as well as manufacturing facilities in Murfreesboro, Tenn. and Reed City, Mich. The U.S. Yogurt business contributed approximately $1.2B to General Mills’ fiscal 2025 net sales. The company expects to use the net proceeds from the transaction for share repurchases and debt reduction.
