Bernstein analyst Gautam Chhugani raised the firm’s price target on Figure (FIGR) to $72 from $54 and keeps an Outperform rating on the shares. The firm says it is starting 2026 by pitching Figure as its top idea. Bernstein particularly likes the idea in the context of the chaotic banking environment with the CLARITY Act adding teeth to the crypto industry. Figure upgrades legacy banking ledgers to the blockchain ledger. The firm believes the company’s business model can evolve rapidly towards new lending categories and more dynamism on its tokenized marketplace, apart from optionality on tokenized equities. The numbers have been tracking ahead of Bernstein’s fairly optimistic estimates, it adds.
