Federal Agricultural Mortgage (AGM) announced the planned retirement of its CEO Bradford Nordholm on March 31, 2027. Farmer Mac also announced that its Board of Directors has appointed Zachary Carpenter, currently EVP- Chief Business Officer, as President and COO, effective immediately, and has named Carpenter as the successor to Nordholm upon his retirement. In this role, Carpenter will take on expanded responsibility while continuing to work with the executive team and Nordholm. Nordholm was appointed as Farmer Mac’s President and CEO in October 2018. Carpenter joined Farmer Mac in May 2019 after roles at Johnson & Johnson, Goldman Sachs, and CoBank.
