FHFA Director William Pulte said while speaking in an interview on Bloomberg TV that President Trump is very interested in the issue of the GSEs and that the timing of a potential IPO of Fannie Mae (FNMA) and Freddie Mac (FMCC) is “entirely” up to the president. Fannie and Freddie are now worth “north of $500B,” according to Pulte.
