Disney (DIS) is planning to reduce the headcount of the total workforce of ABC News and Disney Entertainment Networks by about 6%, Janaki Venugopalan and Mrinmay Dey of Reuters reports, citing a person familiar with the matter. The layoffs will impact less than 200 staff across both units, with most of the impact on ABC News, the person added.
