UBS lowered the firm’s price target on Columbia Sportswear (COLM) to $40 from $45 and keeps a Sell rating on the shares. Columbia’s portfolio of outdoor brands is capable of delivering modest long-term growth, but UBS sees continuous challenges slowing its EPS growth trajectory, including increased competition in outdoor, the analyst tells investors in a research note. The company’s weak Q3 and FY25 revenue outlooks also indicate its core U.S. business will likely remain under pressure, and, along with a tariff headwind, will prevent meaningful EPS growth recovery over the near-term, the firm says.
