Barclays upgraded Citizens Financial (CFG) to Overweight from Equal Weight with a price target of $77, up from $56. The firm adjusted ratings in the large cap bank group as part of its 2026 outlook. Barclays expects the trends hat drove double-digit earnings growth and bank stock outperformance in 2025 to carry into 2026. It thinks Citizens will have the highest organic revenue growth rate in its peer group in 2026 and above-average earnings growth, while the shares trade at a “below-peer valuation.”
