BofA analyst Ebrahim Poonawala raised the firm’s price target on Citi (C) to $100 from $89 and keeps a Buy rating on the shares. While the firm considers Citi’s turnaround “among the most complex in the corporate world,” it adds that Jane Fraser has undertaken actions since having laid out her strategic vision in 2022 that give Citi “a fighting chance of becoming competitive.” Over the last year, each of the five business are tracking improved profitability, notes the analyst, who raised the firm’s FY26 EPS estimate to $10 from $9.85 while also raising its multiples given increased clarity on the return on tangible common equity outlook.
