BofA analyst Ronald Epstein lowered the firm’s price target on RTX (RTX) to $150 from $155 and keeps a Buy rating on the shares. The company provided a framework for investors to think through the potential impact of tariffs and the firm “found the exercise helpful,” but says that the market, however, “seemed to view the worst-case scenario as the base case.” Though investors may be concerned that navigating tariffs is foreign to aerospace and defense companies, the firm sees the reaction as “overdone” and remains confident in RTX’s ability to mitigate tariff-related impacts and sees tariff anxiety creating a “particularly attractive buying opportunity,” the analyst added.
