After Ford (F) and Amazon (AMZN) announced a deal to sell Ford’s Certified Pre-Owned vehicles on Amazon Autos, BofA noted that although Ford’s press release only notes “Markets” rather than national expansion, the “most impactful” element may be that news reports suggested the partnership could expand nationally. However, any impact on Carvana (CVNA) unit sales from Amazon Autos is likely pushed out until the second half of 2026 as Amazon Autos still has limited selection and a third-party model more similar to listings sites like CarGurus (CARG) or TrueCar (TRUE), argues the analyst, who continues to see unit growth upside for Carvana into Q4 and calls the quarter’s unit guidance “likely conservative.” BofA maintains a Buy rating and $385 price target on Carvana shares.
