Axon jumps after DHS head says ICE officers in Minneapolis to get body cameras

Kristi Noem, Secretary of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, said in a post on X, formerly Twitter, “Effective immediately we are deploying body cameras to every officer in the field in Minneapolis. As funding is available, the body camera program will be expanded nationwide. We will rapidly acquire and deploy body cameras to DHS law enforcement across the country.” Shares of Axon (AXON) Enterprise, which makes body cameras, are up 4.4% in after-hours trading.
