Barclays lowered the firm’s price target on Atlas Energy (AESI) to $12 from $19 and keeps an Equal Weight rating on the shares. Management guided Q2 well below consensus, and the “soft” guidance for FY25 EBITDA implies roughly $300M at the midpoint, or 23% below the $392M consensus as customers defer activity, the analyst tells investors in a research note. The firm cut its estimates “significantly” for 2025 and 2026, adding that the company’s “north of $400M” adjusted EBITDA view for FY25 from last quarter proved “too optimistic.”
