Aon is close to a sale of its NFP wealth business to Madison Dearborn for $3B, Antoine Gara of The Financial Times reports. Aon acquired NFP from Madison Dearborn for $13B last year but now decided to sell its non-core assets, two people briefed on the matter said. The deal is set to fund new investments in AI and its core insurance.
