BMO Capital analyst Benjamin Mayhew initiated coverage of Andersons (ANDE) with a Market Perform rating and $45 price target which implies 19% upside from the current share price. Andersons is a diversified agribusiness company and “significant player” in the North American agriculture supply chain, the analyst tells investors in a research note. The firm estimates a decline in the company’s 2025 profits, reflecting weaker agribusiness and renewables fundamentals, partially offset by improved fertilizer profits and positive contributions from the Skyland Grain investment. BMO sees a challenging year ahead in 2025 for the agribusiness trading landscape and ethanol margin environment.
