JPMorgan analyst Peter Peng lowered the firm’s price target on Amkor Technology (AMKR) to $25 from $30 and keeps an Overweight rating on the shares. The company reported better than expected March quarter revenue, driven by better than expected sales in the communications markets, the analyst tells investors in a research note. However, the firm says that given the trade issues and macro uncertainty, Amkor withdrew its prior 2025 soft revenue guidance and refrained from providing a second half revenue outlook. JPMorgan expects tariff and trade-related issues to weaken the outlook for the second half of the year, leading to negative earnings revisions.
