Wells Fargo raised the firm’s price target on American Express (AXP) to $375 from $350 and keeps an Overweight rating on the shares. The pending U.S. Platinum refresh should ease competitive concerns and remind investors that AmEx is the leader and top innovator in the premium segment, the firm says. Wells sees the stock grinding higher on a modest Q3 rev beat and better T&E spend data points.
