Piper Sandler raised the firm’s price target on AMD (AMD) to $300 from $280 and keeps an Overweight rating on the shares. The firm remains very enthusiastic about AMD’s prospects going into 2026 and into the March quarter guidance. For the December 2025 quarter, Piper believes AMD will deliver revenue upside to the tune of $200M, with potential to exceed that level, and EPS upside of at least 2c relative to the Street. For the March quarter, the firm also sees potential for upside, although it expects it to be relatively small given the seasonal aspects of client, gaming, and even the enterprise EPYC CPU business.
