Oppenheimer lowered the firm’s price target on Amazon.com (AMZN) to $215 from $220 and keeps an Outperform rating on the shares despite concerns AWS might not accelerate in Q2 and a weaker overall margin outlook. The firm notes that management cited capacity constraints, but it is getting better as the year proceeds with more server capacity. Positively, management does not see attenuation of consumer demand. Core strategy of broad selection, price and speed seen as key advantage to offset tariff headwind, Oppenheimer says.
