Raymond James lowered the firm’s price target on Allison Transmission (ALSN) to $105 from $110 and keeps an Outperform rating on the shares. Weak demand and high inventories foreshadow lower heavy and medium duty build rates, the analyst tells investors in a research note. Lower class 8 vocational and medium duty truck production will have some resultant flow-through on the Parts/Service Support equipment line item that is directly related to new unit production, the firm notes.
