JPMorgan analyst Reginald Smith raised the firm’s price target on Affirm (AFRM) to $84 from $69 and keeps an Overweight rating on the shares ahead of the fiscal Q4 report on August 28. The firm says the results from card issuers and buy now pay later providers indicate stable to accelerating spending trends, which should translate to another quarterly revenue beat for Affirm. However, the focus of the quarter will be on fiscal 2026 outlook, and Affirm is positioned to beat Street gross merchandise volume estimates, the analyst tells investors in a research note.
