JPMorgan downgraded Adecoagro (AGRO) to Underweight from Neutral with a $7 price target following a period of restriction. The firm cut estimates and became more cautious across all Latin America agribusiness names. The analyst does not see any catalysts for prices in 2026, saying all markets look oversupplied and there is no weather event making markets tight “on the radar.” JPMorgan is “particularly cautious” on the sugar and ethanol market, believing 2026 will see a “large wave” of new supply coming from corn ethanol.
