Ronald Kamdem has given his Buy rating due to a combination of factors including Welltower’s strong financial performance in the third quarter of 2025. The company reported a significant beat in Funds From Operations (FFO) and raised its guidance above market expectations, which is likely to have a positive impact on the stock price. The robust performance of the seniors housing operating (SHO) segment, coupled with $23 billion in year-to-date investment activities, primarily in seniors housing communities, underscores the company’s strategic growth initiatives.
Additionally, Welltower’s recent investments are transforming its portfolio, increasing the concentration of SHO to 72% of in-place Net Operating Income (NOI) from 59% in the second quarter of 2025. The company’s proactive approach in strengthening its leadership team and aligning shareholder interests further supports the positive outlook. These strategic moves, along with the favorable supply-demand dynamics in the U.S. and U.K. markets, particularly in the seniors housing sector, reinforce the Buy rating for Welltower’s stock.
In another report released today, BMO Capital also maintained a Buy rating on the stock with a $200.00 price target.
