Vikram Malhotra has given his Buy rating due to a combination of factors including Vornado Realty’s robust financial performance and promising future prospects. The company has exceeded expectations with its Funds from Operations (FFO) adjusted figures, reporting a 58-cent value that surpassed estimates by 5 cents. This was primarily driven by increased revenue from non-same store (SS) and joint venture income.
Vornado Realty’s core metrics are strong, with office occupancy rates improving and rent spreads exceeding projections. The firm has also demonstrated substantial leasing activity, particularly in the New York City office market, and is on track with its leasing schedule. Malhotra sees multiple catalysts for growth in the latter half of 2025, including lease-up opportunities for Penn assets and underappreciated value in the retail portfolio, which supports his positive outlook on the stock.
In another report released on February 11, Evercore ISI also maintained a Buy rating on the stock with a $46.00 price target.
