Jason Ader has given his Buy rating due to a combination of factors tied to Rubrik’s core strengths and growth outlook. He views Rubrik as a proven multiproduct platform, with a unified SaaS control plane that protects on-premises, cloud, SaaS, and identity workloads, positioning the company well as data environments become more complex. Ader emphasizes that the core data protection and cyber-resilience market remains strong and is still underappreciated by some investors, supported by expanding cloud/SaaS workloads, ongoing security upsell opportunities, and the secular increase in data volumes.

At the same time, he highlights Rubrik’s emerging growth vectors in identity recovery/resilience—where initial traction is solid—and AI-related initiatives, which he sees as longer-term but strategically important. Ader believes Rubrik’s management has demonstrated the kind of forward-looking, nonconsensus decision-making needed to capture new whitespace opportunities and build a durable, multigenerational software franchise. He justifies the stock’s premium valuation multiple by citing the company’s exceptional execution, one of the fastest growth profiles at its scale, a long runway for platform-led expansion, and improving cash-flow dynamics. Collectively, these elements underpin his conviction that Rubrik can sustain attractive growth and value creation, supporting his Buy recommendation.

According to TipRanks, Ader is a 4-star analyst with an average return of 5.0% and a 49.02% success rate. Ader covers the Technology sector, focusing on stocks such as CommVault Systems, Microsoft, and NetApp.

In another report released on December 19, Goldman Sachs also reiterated a Buy rating on the stock with a $120.00 price target.
