Ygal Arounian has given his Buy rating due to a combination of factors that suggest a promising outlook for Trade Desk’s performance. Arounian anticipates a strong second quarter for Trade Desk, expecting the company to exceed its guidance due to a more stable macroeconomic environment. Despite some investor concerns about competition, particularly from Amazon’s DSP, Arounian’s analysis indicates that the competitive threat to Trade Desk’s 2025 spending is less significant than feared.
Arounian’s confidence is further bolstered by the stabilization of the advertising market since Trade Desk’s initial guidance in early May. He believes that if Trade Desk can achieve another quarter of growth exceeding 20% year-over-year, there is potential for the company’s valuation multiples to increase. This expectation is based on upward revisions in estimates, which could lead to a re-rating of the stock beyond 30 times the estimated EBITDA for 2026. Overall, these factors contribute to Arounian’s positive outlook and Buy rating for Trade Desk.

In another report released yesterday, Citizens JMP also reiterated a Buy rating on the stock with a $100.00 price target.

Based on the recent corporate insider activity of 80 insiders, corporate insider sentiment is negative on the stock. This means that over the past quarter there has been an increase of insiders selling their shares of TTD in relation to earlier this year.
