Dylan Carden has given his Buy rating due to a combination of factors that suggest promising growth prospects for National Vision Holdings. The company is strategically positioning itself for long-term expansion by focusing on three main areas: customer reach, product offerings, and retail presence. These efforts are expected to drive significant growth and improve profitability as they capitalize on the momentum gained in the first half of 2025.
A key aspect of National Vision’s growth strategy is its increasing penetration in the managed care segment, which has risen from 30% to 40% of total company revenue and aims to reach 50%. This shift is supported by adjustments in retail inventory to better align with managed care needs. Additionally, there is potential to capture more customers with outside prescriptions and multifocal requirements, areas where the company currently has lower penetration compared to the industry. These strategic initiatives underscore the company’s potential for enhanced average order value and market share expansion.

According to TipRanks, Carden is a 5-star analyst with an average return of 24.8% and a 68.69% success rate. Carden covers the Consumer Cyclical sector, focusing on stocks such as Ulta Beauty, National Vision Holdings, and Stitch Fix.

In another report released on August 11, Jefferies also maintained a Buy rating on the stock with a $33.00 price target.
