Monica Bosio has given her Buy rating due to a combination of factors that indicate a positive outlook for Arnoldo Mondadori Editore SPA. The company’s third-quarter results were largely as anticipated, with a minor decline in sales attributed to timing issues in the education sector. However, a strong recovery in trade and consistent retail performance have balanced these effects, suggesting a robust start to the fourth quarter.
Additionally, October’s data supports an optimistic full-year forecast, with management expecting a positive turnaround in EBITDA by the end of the fiscal year. The company is also negotiating a significant digital acquisition, which could enhance its digital division’s scale and potentially create value. These factors, along with the company’s ability to outperform in trade and maintain stable cash flow, underpin Monica Bosio’s Buy rating, with a target price set at EUR 2.7.
In another report released on November 14, Intermonte also reiterated a Buy rating on the stock with a €3.10 price target.
