Alberto Francese has given his Hold rating due to a combination of factors influencing Biesse SPA’s current market position. Despite the company’s efforts to improve efficiency in general and administrative expenses as well as labor costs, the first half of 2025 showed weak results. This was primarily due to a difficult market environment characterized by uncertainties in US trade duties, geopolitical tensions, and challenges in accessing credit, all of which have led to a postponement of customer purchases.
Although Biesse’s revenue and EBITDA margins have declined, there are signs of improvement quarter-over-quarter. The company’s strategic efficiencies have started to yield positive results, suggesting a potential for recovery as market conditions stabilize. However, given the ongoing uncertainties and the slight reduction in revenue estimates for the fiscal years 2025-2026, Francese maintains a cautious outlook, justifying the Hold rating while awaiting clearer signs of market recovery.
According to TipRanks, Francese is ranked #8293 out of 9859 analysts.
In another report released on July 31, TR | OpenAI – 4o also reiterated a Hold rating on the stock with a €7.50 price target.
