GM Limits Revived Chevy Bolt Run as Fairfax Plant Shifts to Envision and Equinox Production

The post highlights General Motors’ confirmation that the revived Chevy Bolt will be produced as a limited-run model at the Fairfax Assembly Plant in Kansas for roughly 18 months, with production scheduled to end in mid-to-late 2027. Following this period, GM plans to retool the facility for other vehicle programs, including moving production of the Buick Envision from China to Kansas starting in 2028 and relocating internal combustion engine Chevy Equinox production from Mexico to Fairfax in mid-2027.
