BoodleBox has expanded its strategic collaboration with NVIDIA to embed GPU-accelerated, open-model AI directly into its FERPA-compliant collaborative learning platform, a move aimed at improving performance, lowering operating costs, and broadening AI adoption across more than 1,300 educational institutions. Central to this update is the native integration of the NVIDIA Nemotron 3 Nano model as BoodleBox’s AI assistant, now serving over 800,000 students and faculty with classroom-ready tools for inquiry-based learning, group collaboration, and hands-on work with open-source AI. Leveraging NVIDIA AI blueprints, including LLM Router and Enterprise RAG principles, BoodleBox has enhanced its BoodleBot auto-routing assistant and document/memory management system to deliver more accurate context retrieval, better use of institutional knowledge, and smoother multi-model orchestration. The company will also run on NVIDIA AI infrastructure via Microsoft Azure, designed to shorten response times and reduce infrastructure costs for institutions that want advanced AI without investing in their own specialized hardware.
BoodleBox plans to expand its open-model ecosystem by incorporating additional NVIDIA Nemotron models and is exploring NVIDIA Clara for biomedical education and NVIDIA Cosmos for physics and engineering use cases, positioning the platform for deeper domain-specific AI applications. The platform now enables educators and students to co-create in multi-user chats, build custom AI bots for teaching and research, and collaborate on longer-term projects using uploaded materials, data, code, and shared knowledge resources, reinforcing BoodleBox’s focus on transparency and responsible AI use. As a member of the NVIDIA Inception program, BoodleBox gains access to technical resources and tools that can accelerate its product roadmap and institutional deployments. According to customer-reported metrics, institutions using BoodleBox have seen an 83% improvement in student prompting skills, 87% student preference over alternative AI platforms, and a reported 95%+ reduction in environmental impact, underscoring the platform’s differentiation as it scales AI-driven learning and workforce preparation.
