Is Archer Aviation (ACHR) a Buy Ahead of Q3 Earnings?

Archer Aviation (ACHR), a maker of electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircraft, is scheduled to report its Q3 2025 earnings on Thursday, November 6, after market close. Its stock has jumped 242% over the past year, helped by global deals and growing investor excitement around electric air taxis. However, the company still remains a pre-commercial, pre-revenue enterprise, making it a speculative bet. Nevertheless, given the upbeat market sentiment around its partnerships and steady progress toward production, Wall Street remains bullish on Archer stock ahead of Q3 earnings.

Recent Events Ahead of Q3

On October 22, 2025, Archer was named the exclusive Air Taxi Partner of the Los Angeles Sports & Entertainment Commission. The deal makes Archer an official supporter of the 2026 FIFA World Cup and an official partner for Super Bowl LXI, both set to take place in Los Angeles.

On October 15, 2025, Archer announced it had won the competitive bid to acquire roughly 300 patent assets from Lilium GmbH for approximately €18 million (about US$21 million). With this move, Archer’s patent portfolio now exceeds 1,000 assets worldwide.

Following the deal, Canaccord Genuity analyst Austin Moeller reaffirmed a Buy rating on Archer, with a $13 price target. He said the acquisition gives Archer access to valuable eVTOL technologies that could strengthen its future aircraft lineup.

What to Watch on November 6
