Halliburton’s Q1 report also included revenue of $5.4 billion, beating analysts’ estimate of $5.27 billion. That’s despite a 6.9% drop from the $5.8 billion in revenue reported in Q1 2024. Investors will note that the company’s Q1 2025 North America revenue was down 12% year-over-year to $2.2 billion. This was attributed to “lower stimulation activity in US Land and decreased completion tool sales in the Gulf of America.”
Halliburton’s Q1 earnings rattled investor confidence on Tuesday, sending the shares 6.75% lower in early morning trading. That extends the company’s 24.33% decline year-to-date.

Halliburton 2025 Guidance
Halliburton didn’t update its guidance for 2025 in its latest earnings report. The company still expects revenue for the year to be flat to slightly down compared to 2024. It blamed this on weak activity in North America and Mexico as an oversupply of oil keeps prices lower.
Halliburton Chairman, President, and CEO Jeff Miller addressed the company’s performance in its Q1 earnings report. He stated, “I firmly believe that despite recent pressures on the energy macro, Halliburton’s consistent focus on technology, collaboration, and service quality execution create value for our customers and drive long-term success for Halliburton and its shareholders.”
