Wildcat Petroleum Plc has announced a Memorandum of Understanding with Nile Petroleum Corporation to pursue acquisition opportunities of PETRONAS’ oil assets in South Sudan. This strategic move follows PETRONAS’ withdrawal from the region and Nilepet’s intention to collaborate with international partners to maintain and increase oil production.
